I'm recruiting for a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to join a busy Community Diagnostic Centre, supporting the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and works well alongside clinical and facilities teams.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive PPM tasks
Move equipment, supplies, parcels, and post across the site
Manage general, clinical, and (where required) biological waste
Handle patient samples when needed
Support linen and laundry processes
Complete basic handyman and site‑presentation tasks
Maintain outdoor areas, including gritting during cold weather
Assist with reactive cleaning requests
What We're Looking For
A practical, dependable team player
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Someone flexible, organised, and comfortable working in a clinical environment
