Field Service Engineer
Location: Near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (field‑based with workshop work in quieter months)
Package: Excellent salary + van + laptop/phone + training
We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our client’s customers across the agricultural machinery sector, with a strong focus on self‑propelled and trailed crop sprayers. Most of your time will be spent in the field, with workshop and production support during quieter periods.
What you’ll do:
* Diagnose, service and repair crop sprayers and agricultural machinery
* Handle routine maintenance, breakdowns and field‑based repairs
* Provide remote technical support and customer troubleshooting
* Support machine installs, commissioning and operator training
* Carry out workshop repairs, diagnostics and machine prep when required
* Maintain accurate service records and high safety standards
What you’ll need:
* Strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic skills
* Experience in agricultural, plant, HGV or similar machinery
* Confident with customers and remote diagnosis
* Self‑motivated, organised and able to work independently
* CANbus, GPS or sprayer experience is a bonus (training provided)
* Welding/fabrication skills desirable
