Field Service Engineer (Retail)
As a Retail Field Service Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping essential retail technology running at its best. Supporting cutting-edge weighing, labelling, and in-store systems, you’ll help customers minimise downtime and maximise performance. It’s a remote-based role with plenty of autonomy, backed by a knowledgeable and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Install, service, and repair retail equipment directly at customer sites
* Diagnose faults quickly and deliver effective, first-time fixes
* Provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a proactive approach
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance visits
* Accurately log service work, parts, and customer interactions
* Work closely with internal support teams to resolve complex issues
* Keep up to speed with new technology, products, and retail industry standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on role
* Strong technical skills across electronic, mechanical, and software systems
* A confident problem-solver who’s comfortable working independently
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Southern region
* Relevant technical qualifications (electronics, IT, or engineering) are a plus
* Willingness to respond to priority or emergency call-outs when required

Experience within EPoS, photocopiers, access control and other related electro mechanical field or workshop based roles is ideal
