Field Technician

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site sampling and testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
* Prepare and maintain vehicles, tools, and testing equipment before and after site visits
* Accurately complete test sheets and input data using tablets or digital systems
* Liaise with senior staff regarding work schedules, sample requirements, and testing procedures
* Follow all quality control and health & safety procedures on site
* Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold company standards at all times
Person Specification
* Proven field-based experience in construction materials testing
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and well organised
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Ability to manually handle samples (up to 20kg)
Desirable
* Experience in a UKAS-accredited testing environment
* Knowledge of relevant testing standards and procedures
* CSCS card
