Finance Assistant
Your responsibilities will include:
* Logging and managing the approval of supplier invoices
* Recording transactions within the finance system
* Preparing supplier payment lists and setting up online payments
* Handling supplier and internal finance queries
* Coordinating monthly corporate card submissions and staff expense processing
* Recording expenditure accurately into the finance system
* Assisting with preparation of payroll data for an external provider
* Posting payroll related journals and creating associated bank payments
* Completing weekly bank reconciliations and preparing daily cash balance updates
* Supporting month end tasks (balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments)
* Preparing quarterly VAT returns
* Assisting with ad hoc financial reporting, data analysis and administrative tasks
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Experience carrying out similar transactional finance duties
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet agreed deadlines
* Confident user of finance systems (cloud based platforms advantageous)
* Comfortable communicating through digital channels in a remote enabled environment
* Experience working within multi entity or international structures
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
