This position is based in their UK office in Farnborough, with occasional travel to Ireland, and would ideally suit a finance professional with strong knowledge and practical experience of Irish accounting principles and compliance requirements.

Finance Manager – About The Role

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the financial management and reporting of the Irish operation, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and effective support to the wider business. Key duties will include:

Preparing profit and loss statements, monthly closing, and cost accounting reports

Compiling and analysing financial information to prepare general ledger entries and document business transactions

Establishing, maintaining, and coordinating accounting control procedures

Reviewing budgets and expenditures across business units

Monitoring accounting system reports for accuracy and completeness

Preparing and reviewing revenue, expense, payroll entries, and invoices

Analysing revenue and expenditure trends

Resolving accounting discrepancies

Managing external statutory audit and preparation of financial statements

Completing VAT, ROS & RTD submissions

Supporting cashflow management and reporting

Submitting results into the Group reporting package

The successful Finance Manager will have:

Proven experience in a senior finance role

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and accounting processes

Experience managing audits and statutory reporting

Knowledge of VAT and regulatory submissions (Ireland experience desirable)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
