Apply NowWe are currently assisting a growing design and manufacturing studio to find a great new Finance Manager.
The Role of Finance Manager:-
Reporting directly to the Owner, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business and provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions across the company.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Cash flow management and reporting.
* Inventory and stock valuation.
* Margin and profitability analysis.
* Preparation for draft annual accounts for audit to complete
* Payroll oversight.
* VAT returns preparation
* Producing board-level reports and key performance indicators.
* Supporting operational and production teams with financial analysis and business partnering.
* Responsibility for purchasing and supplier expenditure management.
* Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls as the business grows.
Ideal Experience of the Finance Manager:-
* A full professional accounting qualification (AAT or any of the following: (ACCA, CIMA)
* A minimum of two years’ experience in a finance management or similar role.
* Experience within manufacturing or product-based businesses would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
* Strong Excel Analyse skills with formulars such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues across the business.
