As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will provide Service OR Installation activities to life safety systems on commercial and retail sites across London and the South East.
* Complete all Installation / Service Inspection work in accordance with company procedures and system requirements ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard within agreed timescales.
* Resolve issues that may arise by identifying problems and finding resources to offer solutions
Relevant experience and certifications for this role:
* Experience in Conventional Fire Detection Systems and Analogue Addressable Systems.
* Excellent time management
* Experience in Air Sampling Systems and ideally Gas Suppression Systems.
* Good working knowledge of BS 5839
* Good working knowledge of a range of common fire alarm software
* Must have full UK driving licence.
* Fully qualified installation engineers will be considered for this role.
* Electricians with experience of fire alarm installations will be considered.
* Must be prepared to work away as when required.
* Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role.
* CSCS / ECS card preferably FIA.
* City & Guilds 186 – Fire Systems.
* F.I.A./ Service / Commissioning or similar.
* CCNSG or equivalent
* Asbestos awareness & Silica awareness
* Manual handling & Ladder training
* IPAF & PASMA
