Fire Alarm Supervisor

An established and rapidly growing fire protection specialist is seeking an Active Fire Supervisor to support the delivery of fire alarm and smoke ventilation (AOV) projects across the UK.

This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer or Commissioning Engineer looking to step into a supervisory role where they can lead site activities, support engineers, and ensure installations meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise engineers installing fire alarm and AOV systems across multiple sites

*

Commission, test, and verify fire alarm systems

*

Carry out technical site surveys and quality inspections

*

Ensure all installations comply with BS 5839 and BS EN 12101 standards

*

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to engineers

*

Complete commissioning reports and site documentation

*

Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

*

Strong hands-on experience with fire alarm systems and AOV systems

*

Proven fire alarm commissioning experience

*

Previous Senior Engineer or supervisory experience

*

Good knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards

*

Strong fault-finding and technical diagnostic ability

*

Full UK driving licence
