Apply NowWe’re hiring for a Fire & Security Engineer to join an established engineering business covering sites across the North West.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing fire alarm and security systems, carrying out fault finding, remedial works and small installations across a range of commercial and public sector sites.
What’s on offer?
* £40k – £45k p/a
* Mon – Fri | 8am – 5pm
* Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)
* Call-out rota (1 in 9) – £200 standby + double time (door to door)

* 4% - 6% matched pension scheme

What will you be doing as a Fire & Security Engineer?
* Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems including Advanced, Protec and Kentec panels
* Carrying out fault finding, remedial works and small installations
* Working with CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
* Servicing Hikvision CCTV, Galaxy and Texecom intruder systems and Paxton access control
* Attending sites including schools, colleges, care homes and council buildings
* Completing work across the North West (around 90% of jobs)
* Occasional travel to the North East, Midlands and Northampton
* Participating in the on-call rota
What will you need?
* Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or Fire Alarm Engineer
* Experience servicing fire alarm and security systems
* Full UK driving licence
* ECS / CSCS / IPAF cards (desirable)
