Apply NowMy client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Foreman to help deliver works on a Thames Water project in Grays, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous experience working on water projects and a strong civils background.
Foreman Responsibilities:
* Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
* Managing day-to-day site activities.
* Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
* Delivering toolbox talks and monitoring health and safety.
* Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
* Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
* Ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards.
Foreman Requirements:
* Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Previous experience on water or civil engineering projects.
* Thames Water experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Good communication and leadership skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
