Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and production company in Colchester. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
This is a key role within a large and busy warehouse operation. The position will involve working across multiple departments, so a flexible and proactive approach is essential.
Please note: this role is not solely forklift-based, with approximately 60-70% of duties carried out off the truck.
Duties of the Forklift Driver:
Working across various areas within the logistics department
Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
Picking and packing components using paper pick lists
Completing paperwork accurately
Stock control and stock counting
Packing and labelling finished goods safelyThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within a warehouse and logistics distribution and supply chain environment
A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (Reach licence advantageous)
Basic computer skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with manual handling tasksHours and Pay:
£13.12 per hour
Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm
