General Builder / Bricklayer

All works based around South London and Surrey areas

We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder / Bricklayer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong bricklaying skills along with a broad range of general building experience.

You will be working on a variety of projects, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, repairs and general maintenance. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and consistently works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Bricklaying, blockwork and stonework

* Building walls, extensions and other structures

* Pointing, repointing and brick repairs

* Setting out and working from drawings where required

* General building and maintenance work

* Concrete, foundations and groundwork

* Plasterboarding and making good

* Carrying out repairs and refurbishment work

* Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area

* Liaising with other trades and working as part of a team

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Bricklayer / General Builder

* Strong bricklaying and blockwork skills

* Good knowledge of general building practices

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable, hardworking and punctual

* Good attention to detail

* Professional approach to work

* Full UK driving licence would be advantageous

* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential
