📆 Start Date: End of May preferred, however immediate starts available for the right candidate with relevant experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Glass Gunner to join a well‑established glass manufacturing site based in HU2. This is a hands‑on production role operating within a fast‑paced environment, supporting the glass forming and finishing process.
This position operates on a rotating shift pattern, and candidates must have previous gunning experience to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out glass gunning operations safely and efficiently
Handling and guiding glass products through production stages
Inspecting glass for defects and removing sub‑standard items
Supporting machine operators and maintaining production flow
Following strict health & safety and quality procedures
Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
Working to production targets and shift deadlines
Requirements
Previous glass gunning experience is essential
Experience working in a glass manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and awareness of safety standards
Physically capable of working in a production environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts
