Grounds Maintenance Operative – Crawley
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team based in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in grounds maintenance who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a small, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

General grounds maintenance across a variety of sites

*

Grass cutting and mowing using pedestrian and ride-on mowers

*

Hedge cutting and pruning

*

Strimming and edging

*

Leaf blowing and seasonal clearance

*

Maintaining a high standard of presentation across all outdoor areas

*

Basic equipment maintenance and daily checks

*

Working efficiently as part of a small team to complete scheduled tasks

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role

*

Full UK driving licence (essential)

*

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

*

Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

*

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable (not essential):

*

PA1 and PA6 spraying licences
