Dunnock View is a specialist mental health service providing care and rehabilitation for adults with complex mental health needs.

Role Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of the team to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to service users.

Your responsibilities may include:

* Providing day-to-day care and support to service users.

* Supporting with personal care and daily living activities where required.

* Observing and reporting changes in behaviour or presentation.

* Following individual care plans and risk assessments.

* Supporting therapeutic activities and patient engagement.

* Maintaining accurate care records.

* Working closely with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.

* Maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

* Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

Requirements

* Previous UK healthcare experience – ESSENTIAL

* PMVA training – ESSENTIAL

* Mental health experience is highly desirable.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

* Compassionate and patient approach.

* Ability to work effectively within a busy mental health environment.

Shifts

Dunnock View operates 24/7, with day and night shifts available, including weekends.
