Health and Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out on-site inspections UK-wide
Review and record subcontract competencies
Review and maintain relevant safe systems of work and current processes and procedures
Set up online inductions
Audit field engineers and report any observations and advise on improvement opportunities
Audit and update RAMS
Maintain training records
Collate and record evidence for third-party audits
Assist with any internal training admin
Support and work with various departments on engagement strategy
Be active in company H&S meetings
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Previous experience working in health and safety in a construction environment
Strong awareness of H&S legislation
Excellent communication, IT, relationship building, organisational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business
Have an understanding and have worked with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
