Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for ad hoc work based in Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for flexible work with competitive pay and regular shifts available.

The Role:

Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles transporting containers

Collecting and delivering containers to ports, depots, and customer sites

Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate

Adhering to driver hours, WTD regulations, and road transport legislation

Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points

Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely

What We Offer:

£17.00 per hour

Weekly pay

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous container driving experience is desirable but not essential

Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements)

Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
