HGV Class 2 Driver – Haulage (Days)

Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for haulage work with our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This role offers day shifts with competitive pay and the opportunity for ongoing work.

Pay Rate:
£15.00 – £16.15 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)

The Role:

Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for haulage and delivery work

*

Transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations

*

Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy

*

Ensuring all delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately

*

Adhering to driver hours, tachograph rules, and road safety regulations

*

Representing Driver Hire Colchester and our clients professionally

Requirements:

*

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

*

Valid Driver CPC Qualification

*

Digital Tachograph Card

*

Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred

*

Good knowledge of UK driving laws and driver hours regulations

*

Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
