Apply NowThe Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C ) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 08:00am start
Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour however, additional hours will be added on top of timesheet.
Location: Carlisle, CA3
Job Type: Minimum 6 week contract, potentially leading to ongoing work
The role:
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels - mail delivery.
* 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return
* Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (Class 2).
* 6 months experience required
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A safety-first mindset.
