A key client of ours is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on an ongoing basis. You will be working with a large relocation company specialising in business-to-business commercial moves and, on occasion, residential relocations.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent, ongoing work with a well-established company.
The Role
* Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle to various locations across the UK.
* Supporting commercial office relocations and residential moves.
* Delivering and collecting furniture, equipment and other items safely and efficiently.
* Assisting with loading and unloading when required.
* Working alongside porters and relocation teams to ensure smooth and efficient moves.
* Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
* Providing excellent customer service when dealing with clients and customers.
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* A maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
* A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Willingness to assist with manual handling and relocation duties when required.
Pay Rates & Details
* Hourly Rate: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (possible weekends)
* Location: Croydon
* Free onsite parking available
* Various start times
* Minimum 8 hours' pay per day
