Hire and Asset Management Controller

IMH Recruitment are seeking a Hire and Asset Management Officer for our client’s Transport Services team based in WF7.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to deliver an efficient vehicle, plant and equipment hire service, supporting both internal departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage vehicle, plant and equipment hire processes (on/off hire, inspections, compliance checks and documentation)

* Maintain accurate statutory and compliance records across fleet systems

* Coordinate deliveries, collections, maintenance and workshop activity

* Support procurement processes including supplier liaison and tendering

* Oversee EV pool vehicles and charging points

* Raise purchase orders, validate invoices and ensure financial compliance

* Provide general business support and liaise with stakeholders

Requirements:

* Experience within transport, fleet, logistics or asset management

* Strong understanding of vehicle/plant compliance and regulations

* Good IT skills with experience managing data and producing reports

* Excellent organisation and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence

* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:30

* £14.82 per hour

* Flexibility required for occasional travel and out-of-hours meetings
