Academics are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to teach up to KS4 in a Secondary School in Walsall!
As a History Teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum in a positive and inclusive learning environment. You'll be required to assess, monitor and report on student progress and work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure the students are meeting their full potential.
The school requires somebody who can maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and student welfare and is able to manage behaviour in line with school policies. You must be able to adapt to a different school setting and classroom environment to ensure consistency.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons
Maintain a positive learning environment
Support students in reaching their potential
Work closely with staff, parents and carers
Feedback students progress clearly and constructivelyMust have:
QTS / PGCE / Newly qualified teachers
A degree in History or relevant subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students
Must have an Enhanced DBS
