IPC Technician

For this IPC Technician position, it is essential that you have an indate IPC 610 qualification
Unify is excited to be working with a firm based just outside Portsmouth that is a leading manufacturer of Electronics for Space applications.
We are currently looking for an IPC Technician (610 qualified) to join their team on a full time basis.
Role Responsibilities
* Assemble flight hardware in accordance with IPC standards
* Carry out printed circuit assembly (PCA), module construction, and harness fabrication
* Follow detailed build instructions and technical drawings during assembly
* Manufacture internal cable assemblies and assist in building test jigs and enclosures
* Demonstrated experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
* Cleanroom experience is advantageous but not essential
* Awareness of workplace health and safety procedures
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
* Solid understanding of soldering techniques and wiring practices
* IPC 610 qualified and in-date
* Proven hands-on technical ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Clear and confident communicator
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Supportive team member with a collaborative mindset
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Excellent planning and organisational capabilities
* Able to apply sound judgment under pressure

The person to successful fill the IPC Technician role will be, following a successful probationary period, upskilled into an ESA / ECSS qualification
