Irrigation Installation Technician

£15-£20 per hour DOE | PAYE | Full‑Time | Permanent
Southeast England (London & Surrounding Counties)

A well‑established specialist contractor is looking to recruit two Irrigation Installation Technicians to support continued project delivery across commercial and large‑scale residential sites in London and the South East.

This is a hands‑on installation role suited to someone with experience in irrigation, landscaping, or horticulture, who takes pride in practical work and wants to be part of a stable, long‑term team.

The Role

You'll work as part of an experienced installation team delivering irrigation systems and associated works across a varied project portfolio. Projects range from large commercial developments to high‑quality residential schemes.

Key duties include:

Installation of irrigation systems for planted landscapes and green spaces
Laying pipework, connecting systems, and supporting commissioning
Assisting with water feature installations where required
Working across different site environments, including central London developments
Supporting senior installers and engineers on siteThe role is site‑based, practical, and varied, with consistent work available throughout the year.

Who This Role Suits

We're keen to speak with people who are practical, reliable, and experienced on site. This could include individuals currently working for smaller landscaping or specialist contractors who want more stability and exposure to larger projects.

Relevant backgrounds include:

Irrigation installation or maintenance
Landscaping with technical exposure (soft or hard landscaping)
Horticulture with systems‑based experienceFormal qualifications are not essential - time‑served experience, attitude, and work ethic matter most.

Location & Travel

Projects primarily across London and the South East
Candidates from West London, the M3 corridor, Buckinghamshire, Kent, or surrounding areas will be well placed
Occasional staying away may be required, with accommodation and expenses coveredPay, Hours & Benefits

£15-£20 per hour, depending on experience
PAYE employment
Standard 40‑hour week with regular overtime available (up to 60 hours)
Overtime paid at time and a half
Company van (commercial use), fuel card, phone, and parking covered
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
Pension scheme
