Key responsibilities
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef, leading from the front. Your duties will include:
Supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
The ability to follow recipes while adding energy and precision to every dish
Making sure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are kept
Support managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
What we're looking for
This role would suit an experienced Chef De Partie who thrives in a quality-focused environment.
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong leadership skills and a calm, organised approach
Is passionate about producing high-quality food with attention to detail
Can help motivate and inspire a team to perform at their best
Enjoys working across a busy restaurant and bar operation
Has the ambition to help drive standards forward and gain further recognition as a chef
