Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specializing in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Kerb Layers to join them on a busy site at Derby Rd, Uttoxeter ST14 5AA.
As a Kerb Layer your duties will include:
Preparing ground surfaces, trenches, and sub-bases for kerb installation
Mixing and laying mortar/concrete for kerb bedding
Installing, aligning, and levelling different types of kerbs, including pin kerbs for footpaths
Cutting kerbs to required dimensions for corners and junctions
Checking levels and gradients for correct drainage and alignment
Backfilling and haunching to secure kerbs in place
Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working area
Adhering to all site safety rules and regulations
The Successful Labourer must have:
A valid Blue CPCS card (groundworks preferred)
Up-to-date CV
