Exclusive Education is seeking a motivated and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Wigan area.
This role is available for 5 days per week, although part-time hours would be considered. The position is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have previous KS2 Teaching Assistant experience, be confident delivering Phonics, and demonstrate strong competence with the KS2 assessment framework.
✅ Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
• Hold a relevant KS2 Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have experience working with children within the last 2 years
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Have previous KS2 Teaching Assistant experience
• Be able to provide two professional references working with children
• Hold a current DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
