Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming school team in Darlington.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment and helping pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across the classroom

Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment activities

Promote positive behaviour and inclusion

Support pupils with additional needs where required

Contribute to a safe, caring, and stimulating environment

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working with children in a school setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A patient, flexible, and caring approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
