We’re supporting a growing manufacturing business in a regulated environment as they look to bring in a Laboratory Manager. Sitting within the site leadership team, this is a hands-on role with real influence.
You’ll lead day-to-day lab operations, oversee testing, and ensure materials meet strict quality and regulatory standards. Alongside this, you’ll manage and develop a small team, support audits, and work closely with production to solve problems and improve performance.
This would suit someone with a solid laboratory background who’s stepped into leadership—or is ready to. Experience in manufacturing or regulated products is helpful, but just as important is your approach: organised, proactive, and confident working across teams.
It’s a role for someone who likes to take ownership, challenge how things are done, and make improvements that stick.
This role would suit candidates who have worked as a Laboratory Manager or Lab Supervisor, or in roles such as:
Quality Manager (lab-based), Senior Lab Technician, Technical Manager, or someone ready to step into their first leadership role.
