Lead Driller

We are working with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced Driller to join their growing ground investigation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in high-quality work, values safety, and enjoys working outdoors as part of a professional and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate borehole and window sampling equipment, dynamic probing tools, and other handheld or tracked systems, including Dart Mini rigs and similar small-scale rigs.
Collect soil and groundwater samples in line with BS5930 and BS10175 standards.
Accurately record drilling activities, sample depths, and ground conditions.
Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on rigs and equipment.
Work closely with site engineers, geologists, and other drilling staff.
Ensure all work meets health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Travel and stay away from home as required (expenses covered).Requirements:

Proven experience operating window sampling and borehole drilling rigs.
CSCS card.
NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling (Lead Driller) or equivalent qualification (preferred).
Clean UK driving licence (essential).
Strong commitment to safe working practices.
