Duration: Permanent
Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday with a 3:30pm finish on Friday

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Internal Logistics Operator to support material flow and production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a varied role involving logistics, stock control, and production support with opportunities to take on additional team coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Manage material flow including stock replenishment, Kanban and waste handling
- Support production processes and operate machinery where required
- Load/unload goods and handle materials using forklifts and pallet trucks
- Use ERP systems and electronic workflows to maintain accurate stock control
- Follow standard processes to meet operational targets
- Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks and support team activities
- Lead shift start-up meetings when required
- Resolve operational issues, escalate risks and contribute to process improvements
- Train new starters and support ongoing team development
- Ensure clear shift handovers and maintain workplace organisation standards

Requirements

- Experience in manufacturing or material handling
- Understanding of Lean or process improvement methods
- Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience with ERP or similar digital systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Forklift (Counterbalance) licence or willingness to obtain
