Lead Quantity Surveyor
This Lead Quantity Surveyor position will involve leading core commercial activities across luxury residential schemes while also managing and mentoring a small team of junior Quantity Surveyors, ensuring consistent quantity surveying standards across multiple high-value developments.

The Role
As the Lead Quantity Surveyor you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account, while overseeing and supporting a small commercial team.
The role will include:
Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies
* Leading tender documentation and contract preparation
* Managing subcontract procurement and commercial negotiations
* Monitoring valuations, variations and change control
* Leading risk management and value engineering processes
* Overseeing interim valuations and final account agreements
* Producing financial and progress reports for senior management
* Managing and mentoring junior Quantity SurveyorsThe Lead Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially astute, highly organised and confident operating within a high-end residential construction environment while providing leadership to junior team members.
The Lead Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience working as a Lead Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within residential construction
* Experience delivering high-end or super-prime residential projects desirable
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts
* Experience managing projects through the full development lifecycle
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* MRICS desirable or working towardsIn return……?
£70,000 - £80,000 pa (dependant on experience)
