Our client based in Havering are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary / Team Assistant to join their property litigation team on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role, you would need to be a competent and confident Property Litigation / Conveyancing Legal Secretary with excellent communication skills, a typing speed of 60wpm+ and experience of digital dictation and managing busy diaries. As Legal Secretary / Team Assistant you will be responsible for: -

* Carrying out all necessary conflict, money laundering and ID checks.

* A range of administrative duties including data entry, completion of forms, managing diaries and travel, expenses, research, drafting of documentation, booking of events, meeting preparation and more.

* Liaising with other areas of the business such as the accounts and marketing teams.

* Providing Audio typing (Bighand) and copy typing as required.

* Liaising with clients and third parties as instructed by Lawyers.

* Attending to clients, delivering documentation as and when required.

* Providing reception cover when needed.

* Dealing with new business enquiries, following up on enquiries and providing accurate record keeping.

What you will need: -

* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, Bighand, Oyez.

* To be self-motivated with a “can do” flexible approach.

* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

* A proactive approach and able to take ownership of issues and offer solutions.

* Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).

* To be a strong team player who can work on own initiative.

* Knowledge of P4W (Partners for Windows) would be a distinct advantage.
