LLOP/MLOP Picker - Weekends

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our clients busy warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

This role is working every Saturday and Sunday.

Duties

* Efficiently pick orders using warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accuracy and timeliness

* Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prepare items for dispatch

* Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively, subject to certification

* Assist with loading and unloading lorries, ensuring correct placement of stock within the warehouse

* Stock shelves and organise inventory to optimise space utilisation and accessibility

* Conduct quality control checks on picked items to verify accuracy and condition before packing

* Pack products securely for shipping, adhering to company standards and customer requirements

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency

* Support shipping & receiving activities as needed, including documentation and record keeping

Qualifications

* Previous experience operating a LLOP or MLOP

* Strong knowledge of materials handling, stock management, and order picking procedures

* Mechanical knowledge advantageous for operating forklifts and other equipment safely

* Experience in shipping & receiving processes, including loading/unloading procedures

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts

* Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks

* Good organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors during picking and packing

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
