We are seeking a dedicated Machine/Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machinery, ensuring efficient and high-quality output. Duties
* Operate a range of manufacturing equipment, including automated and manual plant machinery including CNC
* Assist with materials handling, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished products
* Use hand tools and tooling to assemble components according to specifications
* Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure safety and operational standards are met
* Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of equipment
* Support the assembly process by following detailed instructions and quality standards
* Maintain organised work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments; warehouse experience is advantageous
* Competence in using hand tools, tooling, and materials handling equipment
* Basic maths skills for measuring, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings
* Strong understanding of materials effectively and handling procedures in a manufacturing setting
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained
* Prior experience with assembly tasks or working within a warehouse environment is beneficial
