With experience working in a heavy plant environment, your key responsibilities will include: -
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown, and repair on a range of machinery and equipment
* Comprehensively reading electrical drawings
* Proactive, Planned-Preventative Maintenance to ensure the existing equipment can meet capacity demand and efficiency targets. Reactive maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.
* Working and adhering to H&S guidelines
* Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies.
* Assisting with the introduction of new equipment to a market-leading production facility as part of our continued drive for innovation.
Ideally you will have a relevant qualification - which may include an ONC or HND / HNC or a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3, with strong maintenance experience on industrial plant equipment and machinery, including but not limited to cranes, conveyors and robotics
