Maintenance Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned preventative maintenance and day-to-day repairs.
Fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
Work with contractors to deliver efficient service and repairs.
Drive improvements in machine performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Requirements:
Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or higher.
Electrical competence (PEO Level 2 minimum) and strong mechanical skills.
Experience in heavy manufacturing or steel processing.
Skilled in fault finding, reading electrical schematics, and troubleshooting.
Flexible approach with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.Desirable:
18th Edition, BTEC Level 3 / HNC or equivalent.
Experience with lasers, presses, saws, or similar machinery.
Additional qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH, IPAF, welding).
This is a Monday to Friday role, flexible for the right engineer, either permanent 6am/2pm or 7am/3pm or 2pm/10pm. There is flexibility to rotate or have a fixed shift, mornings or lates. Salary £40k+. Join a fantastic business and enhance your career
