Salary: £60,000 | Senior Engineer role
Join a well respected well established manufacturing business that has a very friendly family feel about them. The company need a maintenance engineer to take a senior engineer role, mainly keeping the plant running and downtime to a minimum as well as helping to support on dealing with contractors, work permits, ordering parts and mentoring a junior member.
We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias who can confidently support a wide variety of production machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, reducing downtime and contributing to ongoing improvement projects.

Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks
Rapidly diagnose and repair breakdowns
Mentor younfer engineers
Support automated and semi-automated production lines
Work with various process and production machinery
Identify improvement opportunities and work to KPIs
Skills & Experience Required
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
Strong hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively within a multi-skilled team
A proactive mindset suited to a modern maintenance engineer role
