We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter / Welder to become a key part of an established maintenance team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that goes beyond workshop-based fabrication. The successful candidate will be confident working both on-site and in industrial environments, carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing maintenance and repair work on heavy plant equipment
* Working with machinery such as conveyors, gearboxes, and motors
* Undertaking fabrication and welding as part of broader maintenance duties
* Supporting site operations with both planned and reactive maintenance
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in fabrication and welding
* Strong mechanical fitting background
* Previous experience working with heavy plant machinery is essential
* Comfortable working on-site in an industrial setting
* Flexible and dependable with a proactive approach to work
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Weekend work available, paid at overtime rates (time and a half)
Location:
* Based in Doncaster
Salary:
* £16.50 – £19.00 per hour, depending on experience
