The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and safety-conscious, with the ability to manage their own workload effectively across multiple locations. * Conducting routine property inspections and identifying maintenance issues.
* Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting CCTV systems, intruder alarms and access control equipment.
* Assisting with the maintenance and testing of security systems to ensure properties remain safe and secure.
* Responding to maintenance requests and carrying out reactive repairs.
* Liaising with residents, contractors and internal departments to coordinate works.
* Maintaining communal areas and external spaces to a high standard.
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
Working Hours
The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, covering sites across Berkshire, North London, Hertfordshire, Kent and other locations as required.
There will be occasional visits to the head office to discuss ongoing works, property requirements and upcoming projects.
While the role is primarily office-hours based, there may occasionally be a requirement to work additional hours to respond to urgent maintenance issues or operational needs. Overtime is expected to be infrequent and only undertaken when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for an individual who:
* Has previous experience within property maintenance, facilities management, construction, building services or a similar practical trade.
* Has experience carrying out general handyman or multi-trade maintenance works.
* Has previous experience installing, maintaining or fault-finding CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control systems, or similar security equipment, or possesses the aptitude and willingness to learn.
* May come from an Electrical Improver, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Operative or Multi-Trade background.
* Is capable of working independently and managing their own workload.
* Can organise and prioritise tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrates a professional, practical and positive approach to work.
* Maintains high standards of health, safety and property security.
* Communicates effectively with colleagues, contractors and residents.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
* Holds a CSCS Card (preferred).

* Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
* Permanent, full-time employment.
* Monday to Friday working schedule.
* Company vehicle provided.
* Ongoing training and development opportunities.
* Occasional overtime opportunities where required.
* A varied and autonomous role with responsibility and ownership.
* The opportunity to join a large and established residential property company with long-term career prospects.
* The chance to become a valued member of a growing and supportive team.
