Location: Lymedale, Newcastle Under Lyme
Salary: £34,400 inclusive of shift allowance
Hours: This is a shift role working 12-hour and Weekend shifts to support the customer site based in Newcastle Under Lyme. This role would suit anyone who wants to make a move into engineering.
The Role
This role would interest anyone who wants to work within a team and learn about automation and warehouse logistics.
The Maintenance Technician will report to the Lead Maintenance Engineer, will liaise with the customers operational team and will be responsible for:
Ensuring the automation delivers the daily operational plan.
Ensuring Simple Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Reactive tasks are managed quickly and efficiently.
Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance Management System, including booking spares, time, machine and fault information.
Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained
Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Effective time management
Good personal standards
Excellent customer relations
Ability to work solo and as part of a team
