CNC Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established and supportive engineering team in the Yeovil area. Pay - £38,500 (plus bonus scheme)

Location: Yeovil
Woking hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 3:30pm Friday 7am – 12pm

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery

* Diagnose faults and identify root causes across electrical and mechanical systems

* Repair and replace defective components

* Conduct testing and performance checks on machinery and equipment

* Maintain and update CMMS records and maintenance history

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving activities

* Utilise predictive maintenance technologies to monitor equipment performance

* Assist junior technicians and provide support to small teams where required

* Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards

* Follow all health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

* Minimum of 3 years’ maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment

* Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems

* Ability to fault-find, analyse issues, and carry out repairs independently

* Competent using hand tools and specialist maintenance equipment

* Flexible to travel if required
