Material Support Operator
This position would suit someone who works well independently, contributes positively to a team and is willing to learn quickly within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supplying production operators with the required parts and materials
* Ensuring production lines remain fully supplied and operate without delays
* Monitoring and replenishing stock levels across the shop floor
* Moving and organising materials safely within the mould shop
* Using basic computer systems to record stock movements and production information
* Supporting general production activities when required
* Communicating material shortages or operational issues to the appropriate team
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Requirements
* Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
* Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
* Good reading, writing and communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Reliable, punctual and committed
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Able to work accurately within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Willingness and ability to work a rotating two-shift pattern
Desirable Experience
* Previous injection moulding or manufacturing experience
* An understanding of injection moulding materials
* Forklift or Flexi truck experience
* A valid forklift or Flexi truck licence
Full training will be provided where required. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated individual to develop their skills within an established manufacturing environment.
The shift is Monday - Friday. 6am - 2pm. Because of the shift times Private transport would be required.
