About the Opportunity
The Supply Register is proud to be the exclusive managed service provider for CORE Education Trust. We are seeking dedicated Maths Tutors with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to support GCSE students across the Trust’s Birmingham academies.
In this role, you will play a vital part in closing attainment gaps and boosting student confidence as they prepare for their GCSE exams. These masterclasses will be in groups of around 15 students at a time, your expertise will help transform young people’s lives through the Trust’s cornerstone values: Collaboration, Opportunity, Respect, and Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver High-Quality Tuition: Provide tailored GCSE Maths support to small groups, focusing on key curriculum areas and exam techniques.
Track Progress: Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
Foster Engagement: Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.

What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification is essential.
Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of the current GCSE Maths curriculum.
Experience: Proven track record of delivering effective maths intervention or classroom teaching.
Passion: A genuine commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for students in a diverse urban setting.
Reliability: A professional approach with an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
