Role – Mechanical assembly engineer
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Salary - £30,000 per annum
Capacity of role – Permanent position

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being involved in both assembly and testing processes.

Main duties will include –
 Carry out mechanical assembly and product testing to meet agreed production schedules.
 Assist with design and development projects, including prototype builds and testing.
 Identify and report product or material issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
 Maintain accurate production and quality documentation in line with company procedures.
 Follow all Health, Safety and Welfare guidelines, ensuring safe working practices at all times.

Experience / Qualifications
 Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience).
 Proven experience in mechanical assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment.
 Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
 Practical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
