Our client based in Huddersfield is looking for Mechanical Industrial Gearbox Fitter on a permanent basis, the client is an established engineering company and are looking for candidates with gearbox fitting experience
The Job
* Responsible for the strip down, inspection, rebuild and testing of Helical, Worm, Bevel Helical, Spur Gearboxes ranging from 150kg to 10 tonnes.
* Able to carry out tests and work from technical drawings. Servicing and repairing clients’ equipment, from heavy plant machinery to other general mechanical work.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Working across range of industries so every job is different
About you
* Gearbox fitting experience
* Strong Mechanical background with the ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
* A proactive, safety – conscious approach to work
* Driving License preferred
