Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £43,196 + Overtime + Callout
Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm

A well-established manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working on a variety of production equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

Planned and reactive maintenance across site

Fault finding and breakdown repairs on production machinery

Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, belts and bearings

Maintenance of motors, pumps, conveyors and milling machines

Supporting equipment with PLC-controlled systems and control panels

Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability of machinery

Requirements

Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)

Strong mechanical maintenance background

Experience working with manufacturing or production equipment

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and motors

Ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
