The RoleWorking alongside an established team of welders and fabrication specialists, you will:

Set up and operate press brakes, plasma cutters, and sheet rollers

Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to produce precision components

Carry out MIG, TIG, and laser welding (training provided for laser processes)

Fabricate and finish components to high food-industry quality standards

Collaborate closely with design engineers and production teams

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

You’ll see your components progress through to fully assembled, premium machinery giving you real visibility and pride in your work.

What We’re Looking ForEssential:

Proven experience in sheet-metal fabrication and welding

Strong understanding of fabrication methods and metal properties

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail

Strong team player with good communication skills

Desirable:

Experience precision engineering

Exposure to lean or process improvement practices

Experience collaborating with design/engineering teams

The Package
Salary from £38,000 per annum (DOE)

22 days holiday bank holidays (rising to 25 with service)

Workplace pension scheme

Medical Cash Plan (after qualifying period)

Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:00

Friday: 08:00–15:00

Flexi-time available

Overtime available when workload permits
