Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £53,000 (DOE)

The Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out complete machinery strip-downs, rebuilds, and overhauls.

* Installing new machinery, including full machine builds from scratch and commissioning.

* Performing upgrades and modifications to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and lifespan.

* Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime.

* Responding to breakdowns with effective fault finding and repair.

* Working on DC control systems and electrical installations where required.

* Maintaining a wide range of manufacturing and plant equipment.

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

* A recognised Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

* Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environment.

* Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems.

* Knowledge of planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance techniques.

* A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to health and safety.
